Wellness Clinic to dispense free Plan B

Due to an increase in demand and funding at the clinic, the Student Health Center will give out free Plan B on Oct. 13 in addition to flu vaccinations available to all students throughout the month of October.

Medical Center adds new technology for teaching

The $5.5 million construction on Vanderbilt University's Medical Center's (VUMC) Center for Experiential Learning and Assessment's (CELA) new 12,000-square-foot lab has just been completed and is composed of two programs - the Program in Human Simulation and the Simulation Technologies Program.

The smoke begins to clear

On Sept. 1, Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) enacted a smoking ban that prohibits smoking on any Medical Center campus, including the new clinic facility at 100 Oaks. The ban follows a series of increased restrictions on campus smoking, including the implementation of designated smoking areas on campus.
