At 12:01 a.m. Thursday morning, two teams from each presidential campaign raised their banners along the wall, officially marking the beginning of the race.

In three hours, the first annual Alternative Gift Fair raised a total of $9,117.50 for 21 different nonprofit organizations Friday night.

For 13 years, the Charles Davis Foundation has teamed up with Vanderbilt Student Government to sponsor the Angel Tree gift drive, a foundation that focuses on giving gifts to children in need.

Following up with Vanderbilt Student Government Executive Vice President Wyatt Smith’s Letter to the Editor, plans for a transformation of OASIS are in place.

At the Vanderbilt Student Government meeting on Wednesday, several orders of business were addressed and events updated.

No topic was off-limits for students and administrators who attended Desserts with Kirkland on Tuesday afternoon.

With registration for spring classes underway, a new resource has been unveiled to allow students to see sample course syllabi on OAK in order to make the course selection process easier.

"Getting course syllabi up in time for registration was a big priority for us," said Vanderbilt Student Government President Joseph Williams. "It's exciting to be able to put this service up as a functioning way to look at sample course syllabi."
