On the arm of quaterback Jevan Snead, Ole Miss jumped to a commanding 17 - 0 lead at the half over Vanderbilt. Snead connected on 14 of 23 pass attempts, for 188 yards and two touchdowns.

The Commodores host a ranked opponent for the first time this season today in their annual East-West interdivisional game with the No. 21 Ole Miss Rebels.
