Hello, all! We’re off the plane from Newark here in Dublin, where we were greeted by our study abroad program folks, who put us on a bus to take us to a hotel. We’ll be here for three days for orientation, and I’m really excited about seeing Dublin before we drive to Galway on Wednesday.

I’m about to go visit the Guinness Storehouse here in Dublin, which should be a great first tourist stop here in Ireland’s capital. Apparently it’s 15 euro to take a tour and get a pint at the end. Sounds like a great deal to me, but then again, I haven’t figured out the exchange rate yet.

Weird Ireland hotel fact: You have to put your keycard in a slot to keep the lights on in your room. More updates later.
