Vandy actually scored an offensive touchdown. Not only that, they scored four.

John Cole broke the Commodores' recent scoring drought with a 31-yard rush to the endzone in the first quarter.

The second Commodore touchdown of the night came in the third quarter with a six-yard run to the end zone by Larry Smith. Three plays before, Smith completed a 54-yard pass to Udom Umoh to put the Commodores in the red zone. Warren Norman also broke off a 58-yard TD in the fourth.

The Commodores outgained the Owls by almost 100 yards in the first half, but most of the offensive production for both sides came in the first quarter with Cole's touchdown and Rice back Charles Ross's 48-yard touchdown run.
