Noshville's the kind of place that can really hit all the right notes, and play the hell out of them if you're in the mood. Fully kosher, the deli serves everything from less likely Nashvillian fare like white fish to omlets and pancakes at any hour. The true specialty, though, is their impressive array of options for grilled cheese and other hot sandwiches. Cheddar with bacon and tomato on whole-wheat? Done. Muenster on pumpernickel? Done. If that doesn't impress, Noshville is another "you never know who you're gonna run into" joint, too -- last weekend, one of our editors almost went into cardiac arrest at the counter when she realized the blond girl sitting next to her was Miranda Lambert ("OH. You're...you."). The diner serves breakfast all day, bakes all their deserts in house (the black and white cookies are money), and is on the Vanderbilt card. —Katherine Miller
