Well, I think it is safe to say that I have no business in picking college football games. I guess I should be glad that I haven't put any real money on my picks. In fact, if you want to make some money, you should probably do exactly opposite of what I pick. All I ask is that you give me 10 percent of your winnings. Anyway, I went 4-6 again last week. Ugly, I know. I am currently 11-19. Hey, like any good athlete in a slump, I am gonna keep at it. If I go 10-0 this week, I am over .500 just like that! If I don't have a winning record this week, I might just get random people who have no clue about sports to make my picks and see if I fare better. This could get amusing and depressing really fast...

Ole Miss @ Vanderbilt
Ole Miss by 9
I am trying to turn around a losing streak. I can't afford to be a homer. I just don't see this game being close this year. Vandy's defense is banged up. Ole Miss wants revenge and is coming off a loss. They have also had two extra days to prepare. Vandy's offense has been pretty lackluster. Ole Miss' defensive line is better than Mississippi State's which gave Vandy's offensive line fits. I don't think Vandy scores over 10. I think Ole Miss goes over 20. Now with that said, I am always wrong, and I hope this week will be no different. With my luck though, Ole Miss will win by 8...

Auburn @ Tennessee
Tennessee by 2.5
When I saw Tennesse was favored, I thought it was a joke. Auburn should win this game straight up. Tennesse had trouble with Ohio. Auburn is legit this season. I don't think that home field advantage is going to be enough for the Vols.

LSU @ Georgia
Georgia by 3
I like LSU to win this game. LSU's offense did struggle against State last weekend, but they did win. That is all I need them to do this week. Geogia's defense is below average. I think LSU has a better offense, defense, and special teams. How can I not pick them? Just because this is at Georgia? That isn't enough for Georgia to be favored.

Georgia Tech @ Mississippi State
Georgia Tech by 6
Mississippi State has been on fire since getting destroyed by Auburn. Georgia Tech did clobber State last season, but I think that State is a diffeent team this year and will want revenge. Starkville isn't an easy place to play either with all those illegal cow bells. The biggest reason why I like State though is their run defense the past two weeks. They only gave up 67 total rushing yards and 30 net rushing yards to a talented LSU backfield. I am banking on the fact that State's defense can shut down the triple option enough to win the game or keep it very close.

Arkansas @ Texas A&M
Arkansas by 1.5
Alabama made Arkansas look bad last week. I have to think that Mallet and company will respond this week though against a Big 12 defense. The 12th man should be rocking in College Station, but I just find it hard to pick against the SEC.

Bama @ Kentucky
Bama by 15.5
Seriously? Only 15.5? Bama made Arkansas look horrible last weekend, and Arkansas is a much better team than Kentucky. Don't tell me you think Kentucky has a great home field advantage. This should be similar to Florida's visit to Lexington last weekend. Well, except for Tim Tebow getting a concussion...

Va Tech @ Duke
Va Tech by 17
Duke is bad. Va Tech is good, really good. I don't see any "let down" this week for Tech after beating Miami. I would be kinda suprised if Duke scores double digits.

Houston @ UTEP
Houston by 15
UTEP just lost to Texas 64-7. Houston may not be Texas, but they are pretty good in their own right. Their quarterback Case Keenum is getting his name thrown around in Heisman discussions. Houston wins big here.

Washington @ Notre Dame
Notre Dame by 13
Washington had a let down last weekend losing to Stanford after beating USC, but Stanford is becoming a force in the Pac-10. Coach Harbaugh has things moving in the right direction at Stanford, so I am not too concerned about that loss. Notre Dame on the other hand is very lucky to be 3-1. They have beaten Michigan State and Purdue, two average Big 10 schools, by just 3 points the last two weekends. I don't think they are going to beat Jake Locker and company by 13. Also, just as Steve Sarkisian and Nick Holt knew a ton about their former employer USC, they have also played Charlie Weis every season since he has become coach at Notre Dame. Don't be surprised if Washington wins this game.

Tulsa @ Rice
Tulsa by 16.5
Rice allowed an offensively challenged Vanderbilt team to beat them by 19 last week. Tulsa can score in bunches. The only team they haven't scored 37 or more on is Oklahoma, and Rice is no Oklahoma as any Vandy fan can attest to. I like Tulsa to blow out Rice.

10-0 here I come!!!!!
