Finally! I had a winning week. I went 7-3 last weekend. Maybe that record will convince all of you that I actually know a little bit about college football and am not a complete idiot. My winning ways couldn't have come soon enough; I really didn't want to be humilated by asking a girl who is clueless about sports to pick my games just to have her do better than me. Unfortunately, I was spot on about Vanderbilt football. We didn't score more than 10 points, and Ole Miss scored in the 20s. Hopefully, the offense will explode against Army this weekend because if they don't, I fear what the rest of our season is going to look like. Looking at this weekend's games, this week is going to be tough. I am currently 18-22 overall. Maybe I will get lucky this weekend and get over .500 for the first time this season.

Vanderbilt @ Army

Vanderbilt by 10.5

With Vanderbilt's offense being so pathetic, this game is hard. Do I think Vanderbilt should beat Army by 10.5? Yes. Do I have confidence that our offense can actually put up enough points to win by 10.5? I'm not sure. I also fear that our defense may have trouble with the triple option. The team also can't seem to have a good first half this year. I am going to take Vandy and be a homer, but I don't feel great about this pick. I hope the team doesn't make me look foolish. Duke beat these guys by 16. Cmon guys!!!

Auburn @ Arkansas

Auburn by 3

Arkansas doesn't really have a defense. Auburn has almost scored more points this season than they did all of last season. Auburn is undefeated and looks like the real deal. Who would have thought. I am taking the Tigers.

Georgia @ Tennessee

Tennessee by 1

Seriously? Tennessee is favored again? Georgia should win this straight up. Everyone knows that Georgia's defense is porous and UT can run the ball, but the Dawgs should have beaten a very good LSU team last week. Jonathan Crompton is the worst quarterback in college football. This will be close, but I am sure UT will find some way to lose.

Kentucky @ South Carolina

South Carolina by 10

This is tough. Kentucky hung around for a while against Alabama. South Carolina can struggle at times on offense. Kentucky will be without their star defensive back Trevard Lindley though. I don't doubt that South Carolina should win. I just wonder if it will be by 10. I will take the Cocks and the Ole' Ball Coach though.

Alabama @ Ole Miss

Alabama by 5

Roll Tide Roll. This is the only real test left on their schedule in my opinion. They still have LSU and Auburn, but I think they will win both. Ole Miss didn't impress me that much last week. Snead isn't living up to the hype. Shocker. I think Bama's defense will shut down Ole Miss' offense and make a statement in this game. I like Bama by at least a touchdown.

Houston @ Mississippi State

State by 2

I usually would like Houston, but after they just lost to UTEP, I don't like their chances against an SEC team. I think Dixon will run wild, and Starkville's atmosphere should give State the extra edge to win.

Florida @ LSU

Florida by 7.5

The game of the week. There is no doubt in my mind that Tebow will play. My question is will he truly be 100%. Death Valley will be rocking. LSU's offense is going to have to step up against a tenacious Florida defense. There is just something about the mystique of a night game in Death Valley that makes me want to take the Tigers here. Maybe I will look like an idiot, and Florida will win in a rout, but I am going to take that chance.

Michigan State @ Illinois

State by 4

Illinois is benching their quarterback "Juice" Williams. That is how bad they have been of late. Michigan State is a solid football team. They held off a good Michigan team last weekend and should have beaten Notre Dame. I think Michigan State gets the win.

Oregon @ UCLA

Oregon by 3.5

Oregon has been on fire since they lost to Boise State. UCLA has been just average with quarterback Kevin Prince hurt. I will take the hot team in this one.

TCU @ Air Force

TCU by 10.5

I just like TCU. They are a team flying under the radar even as they are tenth in the nation, and I don't see Air Force slowing them down. Air Force lost to Minnesota. TCU is a lot better than Minnesota.
