We spoke with the towers of the Vanderbilt men's and women's basketball teams for this edition of "He Said/She Said" in junior centers A.J. Ogilvy and Hannah Tuomi. Here are Hannah's answers, click here to read A.J.'s.
Vanderbilt Hustler: Do you have a nickname?
Hannah Tuomi: Hannah Banana, Hans, Tuom, Sisu
VH: If you weren’t playing basketball, what sport would you be playing right now?
HT: Volleyball
VH: What SEC team would you most like to beat and why?
HT: Tennessee. They’re our rivals, so it’s always the most exciting game of the SEC season.
VH: What is an interesting fact your teammates don’t know about you?
HT: For a while they didn’t know that I played tennis in high school.
VH: What is your favorite TV show?
HT: “The Simpsons”
VH: What is your favorite pre-game meal?
HT: It is usually provided for us, either catered or at Logan’s, so I would probably go with Logan’s Steakhouse.
VH: If someone played your coach in a movie, who would it be?
HT: Bette Midler
VH: What advice do you have for upcoming freshmen athletes?
HT: Try not to get stressed out. Its tough to be a freshman, the workload is huge and everything is brand new, so really try not to be overwhelmed with everything.
VH: What are your words to live by?
HT: Live with no regrets.
