Taking a break from the Florida-Mississippi State game (…my brother called an upset before this thing, and “let me be clear: that interception was a dramatic turn of events”) to say: Straight GOP this year! Last year I MIGHT HAVE made a detour and voted for Mark Warner for Senate, but this year the bell tolls all the time, such to the point that is like the cowbells of the Mississippi State fans. So, despite the Washington Post Machine, for me it was Bob McDonnell, Ken Cuccinelli, Bill Bolling and Barbara Comstock on my ballot. If you have the means, I highly recommend Mike’s National Review interview from the summer with Ken Cuccinelli and his bid to remind the Old Dominion that it was founded on awesome and legendary-ness.

Also, where the hell have I been? I will be back in blogging all-star form on Monday for the rest of 2009. I’ve looked at myself in the mirror and told myself, “Man up, Miller.”
