This Sunday, one of the jam-band scene's favorite acts, moe., comes to the Cannery Ballroom. moe. brings a tawng with thier sound, which is usually driven by virtuosic electric guitars, funky bass, and timely drum syncopations. Additionally, the band is one of the few in the scene whose vocals contribute more than they take away, which is probably because more than anything moe. is a rock 'n' roll band. Simple harmonies and solid lyrics with classic R 'n' R themes accompany most songs. But don't be surprised to hear some 15 minute plus shredding jams, weaving in and out of hard rock themes.
moe. favorites include "sticks and stones," "okayalright," and "blue jean pizza." Come to the Cannery Sunday night for an evening of great music.
