Vanderbilt will host its only exhibition game of the season tonight when Alabama-Huntsville visits Memorial Gym.
The game will tip off at 7 p.m. CDT, and tickets are still available, with students getting free admission with their Vanderbilt ID.
The Commodores are returning all five starters from last year's 19-12 team that won seven of its last 11 games but missed the NCAA Tournament for the first time in three years.
Among the returning starters are senior point guard Jermaine Beal, sophomore shooting guard Brad Tinsley, sophomore forward Jeff Taylor, and junior center A.J. Ogilvy. Ogilvy (15.4 points per game), Beal (12.5), Taylor (12.5) and Tinsley (11.0) all averaged double digits in scoring for the Commodores last year.
Ogilvy was rewarded with a selection to the All-SEC Preseason First team this season.
Vanderbilt fans will also get a chance to see the team's firs 5-star recruit, freshman shooting guard John Jenkins, in action tonight.
Head coach Kevin Stallings is beginning his 11th season in Nashville.
