The student section is looking less like a Mad Max-esque apocalyptic wasteland and more like a sea of black and gold. Still, that side of the stadium is a lot redder than it should be, relatively speaking, so Vandy is going to have to be extra loud.

As I was typing the above paragraph, #17 Steven Brightwas injured. To phrase it most simply, this ain't good. On his way out, though,Bright fired up the Vanderbilt crowd; hopefully this energy level will be maintained. The VandyMania.com representative to my right is not happy about this injury and even less happy about the rate of time-out usage.

It's kind of rude for South Carolina to injure one of their own as they just did.
