Finally the guys over at Microsoft have come up with an "iPod killer" of their own. It's called the Zune and its slated for release on November 14th. It has some interesting features (like player - player sharing which is sweet...but there are some DRM issues) but I think its unlikely that anything will take a chunk out of Apple's current market share anytime soon. Check out a review and some more photos of the device here.

Here is one of the most powerful YouTube videos I have ever seen. It's called "The Hubble Deep Field: The Most Important Image Ever Taken" and it shows us just how small we are in the universe. It really puts things into perspective! I am once again reminded of a quote from the movie Contact:

"Do you think there's life out there?"

"I don't know," he responded, "but if there isn't it sure seems like a awful waste of space."

Another interesting website I found is this one. It has all kinds of interesting technology lectures in video format for you to download. They're a bittttt technical so watch out!

For those Firefox junkies out there, this is the best list of extensions I have found. It is listed by "I want an extension to..." so its really easy to find things... Have fun!
