Chancellor Gordon Gee and his salary are tied with Alexsey Vayner and his why-you-should-hire-me YouTube clip for "Newsmaker of the Year" on U.S. News & World Report's PaperTrail blog, which tracks college media.
Students can vote for the "Britney Spears/Brangelina" of college media until tomorrow, Jan. 23 at midnight. On Monday night, Gee and Vayner were tied, with 26 percent each.
InsideVandy is also up for "Best Alternative Media Outlet" of 2006 in the PaperTrail poll.
Winners will be posted Jan. 24.
