InsideVandy was named best college media Web site this weekend in the Southeast Journalism Conference's 2006 Best of the South Competition.
Other top honors went to:
2. The DM Online- University of Mississippi
3. The Student Printz Online- University of Southern Mississippi
4. The Southern Digest Online- Southern University
5. The Belmont Vision- Belmont University
Several Vanderbilt student journalists also took home individual honors for reporting, writing and photography. The Hustler placed sixth in the print newspaper category.
