Chicago's famed comedy troupe, The Second City, will come to Vanderbilt Friday, March 23, Vanderbilt Programming Board announced today. The troupe will perform its classic sketch and improvisation comedy entitled "Truth, Justice, or The American Way."

The Second City has launched the careers of comedy stars including Stephen Colbert, Tina Fey, Rachel Dratch, Mike Myers, Chris Farley, Bill Murray, John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd and Martin Short. According to VPB, the troupe's performance will aim to provide "insightful look into contemporary American culture."

Tickets are free to Vanderbilt University Students and are available at the Sarratt Student Center box office. There will be two shows at Sarratt Cinema at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. Friday.
