Hi Guys,
The countdown is seriously starting and we need everyones support. The night of Relay is going to be so much fun, and so worthwhile and I can't explain how much I want everyone on this campus and in the area to come out and support the cause with me. Please, please, please check out the Relay Website or email us with questions.
Megan Hines is another member of my fabulous Relay team and it is her turn to share with everyone "Why She Relays":
"I relay for my grandfather who died of lung cancer years before I was even born. Hearing my mom talk about him lets me know he was an amazing person and I know it kills her that my brother and I never got to know him. Unfortunately at the time, there really was no treatment for cancer. We have made amazing advancements in the treatment of cancer, but we still have so far to go. So I relay to raise money not only for those suffering from cancer but also their families, who are affected for generations by this disease."

Thank you Megan for sharing a personal story. Keep that in mind everyone, cancer affects generations in a family, so the advancements we make now will not only help you, but they will help your furture families.
Thanks!
