When you're fed up with everything in your closet and decide that you have nothing to wear, justify your shopping spree by doing a little good in the world. This is possible through Enjuba, founded by two of our very own Vanderbilt students, Wil Keenan and Henry Manice. The company's website, enjuba.com, describes Enjuba as "a socially responsible company that was started in order to sell unique clothing and accessories made by our team of artists in Uganda."

Twenty-six Ugandan artisans create and design the Enjuba line, which includes clothing, sandals and accessories. The clothing line includes shirts and skirts with designs that reflect their Ugandan heritage.

The site offers a wide array of jewelry, bags and belts that are sure to add a unique look to your outfit. The Enjuba Sandal, perfect for the season, is made of genuine leather and is accented with your choice of beige, maroon, or royal blue ribbon.

Clothing prices vary from $18 to $35 and accessories cost between $22 and $48. A portion of the profit goes to the artisans so, as enjuba's profits increase, the artisans receive a proportional increase in the amount of money they receive in exchange for their products. You will smile even brighter with the knowledge that that cute, flirty skirt that you bought is doing the double duty of turning heads and helping to build a sustainable infrastructure for several Ugandan families.
