Karry Katona, former member of UK girl group Atomic Kitten, announced to OK! magazine recently that "I can’t keep my big mouth shut for very long. It’s early days which is why I’m so nervous about announcing it. I’ve been bleeding a lot in the past few days and I’ve been petrified that I might be miscarrying but I’ve bled in all of my previous pregnancies so I’m praying everything is okay." Reportedly four to five weeks pregnant, her publicist confirmed yesterday that she suffered a miscarriage. Today, he is singing a different tune. Katona’s publicist, Max Clifford, just released the following statement: "After further examination it has been revealed that Kerry Katona is still pregnant. Kerry went back into hospital for a medical procedure last night. However, a blood test revealed surprising results – her pregnancy hormones had gone up, not down. Kerry was taken for a second scan and was shown her baby’s 3mm heart beat. It has transpired that Kerry is only five weeks pregnant, not seven-eight weeks, which is why the scan was not clear and coupled with bleeding led to her being diagnosed with having had a miscarriage. She is still at risk of complications – however she and Mark are ecstatic that she is still pregnant with their baby." Hopefully she will take a little better care of her body this time around. Lay off the drugs, sweetie.

In one of my first blogs, I reported that Ja Rule, through his quotes for Complex magazine, is a homophobe. After GLAAD came after him, Ja Rule has changed his tune. He claimed to Spinner that "I was taken out of context. My statement was more about where our mind state is as a people. We're focused on the wrong things -- like, our country is at war right now. These things are more of a problem to me. Like another case I just read about -- young ladies being raped by six white men. These are the stories that should be popping up on my TV screen. That's what I was talking about, and somehow it got spun into some other shit!" When asked how he would feel if one his kids told him they were gay he said, "That's their own preference. I'm going to love them regardless. I have relatives that are homosexuals and, you know, they come over for Christmas, hang out. It's something that starts with us." And what about gay marriage? "It's really not my business. I really could care less. It's not something that bothers me." This washed-up rapper is lying through his teeth. Maybe he will retire too. :)

Wendy Faracino is a make-up artist at the Bobbi Brown counter in Saks Fifth Avenue in Southampton. Page Six reports that Wendy was admiring a pair of Manolos while on her break when Renee Zellweger sauntered up to her and the two women began talking about shoes. About fifteen minutes after Faracino went back to work, one of the salesmen presented her with a box of the Manolos, saying, "These are compliments of Renée Zellweger. She wanted you to have them." I need to visit Southampton the next time Renee is there!

Hotel heiress, ex-jailbird, and overall nuisance Paris Hilton announced that, according to E! Online, she will be visiting Rwanda as part of her goodwill tour this fall to highlight global causes. "There’s so much need in that area, and I feel like if I go, it will bring more attention to what people can do to help," Hilton said. Scott Lazerson of Playing for Good, an organization that helps high-end business and entertainment personalities become involved in charities, originally invited Hilton to Rwanda, the scene of a 1994 genocide in which thousands of Tutsis were slaughtered. Hilton said her journey to Rwanda will not be her last visit to other countries. Oh, geez. I cannot imagine the "goods" she will work. Literally. It is unimaginable, and not in a good way.

Yahoo.com is reporting that Elton John has stated today that he owns a photo of two naked girls taken by award-winning photographer Nan Goldin that was seized by police at a British gallery over concerns that it was child pornography. He confirmed his ownership of "Klara and Edda Belly-Dancing" in a statement on his Web site, saying it is among 149 images comprising Goldin's "Thanksgiving" installation, which he purchased in 1999. Both Goldin and the gallery have declined to comment. The gallery alerted police to Goldin's photo on the eve of an exhibition featuring her work that opened Friday. "The photograph exists as part of the installation as a whole and has been widely published and exhibited throughout the world," the legendary singer said. "It can be found in the monograph of Ms. Goldin's works entitled `The Devil's Playground' (Phaidon, 2003), has been offered for sale at Sotheby's New York in 2002 and 2004, and has previously been exhibited in Houston, London, Madrid, New York, Portugal, Warsaw and Zurich without any objections of which we are aware." Personally, I would not be concerned about Sir Elton being a pedophile. He has no sexual attraction to young girls (or any girls). It is simply art.

Denise Richards has dropped some more bombs according to Perez Hilton. This time, she alleges that Sheen has molested their daughters. Say what??? The sworn declaration of their former nanny, Diana Alvarez, is going to be used as a weapon in Richards' arsenal. Perez "sez," "Among other allegations, Alvarez raises the specter of whether Sheen inappropriately touched the girls’ 'molees' (their nickname for breasts) and their 'tushys.' Though she lacks concrete evidence, Alvarez claims to be 'concerned.' She’s also 'alarmed' by Sheen’s sleeping in the same bed as Sam when his fiancée, Brooke Mueller, is in the guest room." Disgusting! Denise Richards is just creepy to support her former nanny's accusations. I doubt Sheen did this, but time will tell. Sheen likes his ladies but not that young. What is it with alleged pedophilia all of a sudden??? It's as in style as African children and pregnancies! Huzzah!
