At the Sydney premiere of "Elizabeth: The Golden Age" last night, Cate Blanchett revealed to the Sydney Morning Herald that she IS expecting. She said, "Yes, I am. You know more than me. It's early days yet. It's due in April." Cate has two boys with husband, Andrew Upton. She will have the loveliest maternity dress in February, I am sure, especially since she will be nominated for Best Actress! Finally! Christina Aguilera confirmed to Glamour Magazine that she is expecting. When asked what her New Year's resolution is, she said, "That’ll be about the time I enter into mommyhood, so I’m hoping to have started a beautiful family with my husband!" Xtina also said her husband is "thrilled!, he’s just great. He’s so supportive and amazing through everything. He came with me on the last leg of the tour and he was my support system…I gush. She confessed in a new interview for People Magazine that she has had breast implants and an eye lift. Jane said she had the implants put in for her role in "Wedding Crashers." She told People that her implants were the smallest her surgeon had ever seen. "My plastic surgeon had to special order them." On her eye lift, she said, "It was more than a decade ago. Genetically, I had baggy eyes and photographers said they didn't want to spend money endlessly having to eradicate them." She also admitted to having Botox. "It was the worst thing. Victoria Beckham has been told by the people running the Spice Girls' reunion tour that she has to gain weight to keep up with the demands of dancing and singing every night. A source told the Daily Mail that she will first detox with only drinking hot water and eating fruits and veggies. After her 5-day detox she will start eating tons of protein. "She is terrified of putting on a single pound and has had to be talked into increasing her food intake. It would be very embarrassing for her if she collapses or gets ill because she's too weak." Homegirl is already too skinny! Pass her some bread! Shia LaBeouf was arrested at a Chicago Walgreens at 2:30 Saturday morning when he refused to leave the store. A security guard told him he was too drunk to be in the store. Shia refused and the cops were called. The cops say he was "polite." CBS2 Chicago reports that he was released on bond at 7 that morning. The 21-year-old was charged with misdemeanor criminal trespassing. He has to appear in a Chicago courtroom on November 29th. How can you charge a polite drunk kid? Oprah Winfrey held a press conference in Chicago today to address the child abuse allegations against one of the matrons from her all-girls school in Africa. She said this whole drama has "been one of the most, if not the most, devastating experience of my life." She went on to say, "I feel it. I said to the mothers, the family members, the aunts, the grannies — because most of these girls have lost their families, their parents — I said to them, 'Your daughters are now my daughters. No one can destroy the dream I have held, and each girl continues to hold, at the school." The accused dorm matron, 27-year-old Tiny Makopo, appeared in court today and was released on $450 bail. When asked, Kylie has said on numerous occasions that she loves touring and that she might tour again in the near future. There were and are no dates currently confirmed. If and when dates are confirmed they will be announced in the normal manner. Thus, reports in the Daily Mail that Kylie has cancelled a tour are not true for the simple reason that no tour had been booked. Kylie has not been told by her doctors that touring 'could seriously harm her health.' She did not give the quotes reported in the Mail today.
