3:10 Kentucky gets the ball first and starts at their own 22.
3:12 Woodson finds Steve Johnson wide-open after he got behind the safeties for a 33-yard gain.
3:14 Kentucky is marching down the field using a no-huddle offense, and they are now on the Vanderbilt 7.
3:18 Rafael Little may not return to the game after being injured which could be big down the stretch.
3:20 Maurice Grinter rumbles into the end zone from a yard out, capping an economical 78-yard scoring drive. Kentucky 20, Vanderbilt 13.
3:26 Fake handoff to Hawkins sets up a nice pass by Adams to George Smith down the middle for a 15-yard gain. That’s followed by a 15-yard run by Earl Bennett to put Vanderbilt on the Kentucky 35.
3:29 Sean Walker gets flagged for offensive pass interference down the left sideline on third down following Adams being sacked and Vanderbilt has to punt. A promising drive is stalled and Kentucky gets the ball back after scoring on their last two possessions.

Vanderbilt gets 15 yards after the flag, but Hawkins is out for the count and probably won’t play again today. He’s being carted off the field and receives a nice ovation from the crowd. Hawkins was having the best day of the Vanderbilt running backs and will be missed.
3:50 Earl Bennett has a terrific catch down the left sideline on the first play after Hawkins was injured. They’re now in Kentucky territory and Mackenzi Adams is fired up.
3:54 End of the third quarter. Kentucky 20, Vanderbilt 13.
