PerezHilton.com reports that Amy Winehouse was seen leaving her new London flat on Wednesday "looking pin thin." For at least three nights this week, Wino has continued her "bizarre nocturnal activities." At around 4:15 a.m. Wednesday morning, she ran by a store for a box of popsicles. Around 6 a.m., Jude Law’s ex-wife, Sadie Frost, paid Amy a visit.
According to PerezHilton.com, a self-destructing Amy Winehouse and her addictions were on display for all to see Wednesday night in London, as she passed out in a dozen powdered donuts in a coffee shop. Sadness.
Yesterday, my girl, Amy Winehouse, scored SIX Grammy nominations, including Best New Artist, Record of the Year ("Rehab"), Album of the Year ("Back to Black"), and Song of the Year ("Rehab"). (CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??? YES!) Despite this amazing accomplishment, only Kanye West surpassed her with 8 nominations, including Album of the Year.
My girl, Amy, only has to contend with such songs as "Umbrella" and "Irreplaceable" for Record of the Year, "Graduation" for Album of the Year, "Before He Cheats," "Hey There Delilah," and "Umbrella" for Song of the Year, and Feist and Taylor Swift for Best New Artist. I know she can do it! If the Dixie Chicks can sweep, so can she!
Akon was booked on Monday in upstate New York for charges that he was physically violent towards a fan at a concert, says PerezHilton.com. The rapper threw the kid off the stage. Ouch. Sorry, Blame it on him again?
Kiefer Sutherland quietly checked into jail on Wednesday night. The "24" star has begun serving his prison stay for his DUI-related arrest a few months ago, as I reported. Sutherland, a multiple DUI offender, will serve 48 days in jail. Originally, he was able to get the courts to split his stay in two parts so that production on his show would not be disrupted, but because of the writers strike, production already has been disrupted, so Kiefer is expected to serve all 48 days in sequence, with no early release. Sucks for him. Ho ho ho...merry Christmas?
Wow. I can't believe someone would be capable of saying the things that Sherri Shepard did on "The View" the other morning. Check it out, and see for yourself:
Finally, PerezHilton.com reports that Madonna is naming her next studio album, "Licorice." The disc will be released in April and features collaborations with Kanye West and Pharrell, amongst others. (Is it just me, or does she keep pushing it back???)
I wanna catch "Licorice" on tour and hear the artist perform the songs on the album live. I'm already looking to buy Madonna tickets and I really hope she'll keep her voice clean and not modify it using a computer.
