Dlisted.com reports that "Oprah featuring Obama" appeared in Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina this past weekend. Together, they brought in around 70,000 screaming fans. Several newspapers think Oprah completely outshone Obama, dubbing the campaign the "Oprah-bama tour." This is the first time Oprah has publicly backed a Presidential candidate.

Oprah said, "For the very first time in my life, I feel compelled to stand up and speak out for the man who I believe has a new vision for America. I understand the difference between a book club and free refrigerators. I understand the difference between that and this critical moment in our nation's history. I believe that Barack Obama will bring statesmanship to the White House. I believe that he will lead with strength, conviction, honor and compassion." For some reason, I'm thinking of those Debra Wilson Oprah skits on MadTV... My girl, Amy Winehouse, drops her new single, "Love Is a Losing Game," today in the U.K.! What do we think??? Great song and inspired video, I say! Meanwhile, homegirl was roaming the streets of London again last night, hitting up convenience stores for more snackage. Does she have the munchies or what?

Uh oh! PerezHilton.com reports that Latin pop singer Ricky Martin may have been outed. Skin care specialist Ole Henriksen recently was asked in an interview who he would spend a romantic vacation with other than his partner. His response: "I’d go for Stig T??fting [former Danish soccer player], but since he’s straight, I’d say my client, Ricky Martin." Whoa! As if the black leather pants didn't give it away already.

Anyhoo, Henriksen does not stop there! Oh, no! He divulged some more dirt on our favorite Latin pop singer who lives la vida loca! In an interview with Swedish gay magazine Salonk, the Hollywood-based Danish facialist said that he knows for a fact that Ricky Martin is gay, saying "He [Ricky Martin] is a bit more open about it these days than he used to be . . . I don’t know if he has a boyfriend." I smell dramz! Finally, PerezHilton.com reports that legendary R&B singer Aretha Franklin has revealed that Halle Berry is one of the three women she has considered casting to play her in an upcoming biopic. Really? The diva dished, "I’m still thinking of several people, and that would be Halle Berry, possibly Fantasia, she’ll be through on Broadway in January, and it could be Jennifer Hudson — you never know. There’s no final on that yet. I’m still observing them and their projects. 'Dreamgirls' I’ve watched a couple of times lately, and I’m still just trying to arrive at the right decision." Aretha, you need Jennifer because Halle doesn't have the pipes, and Fantasia isn't very Aretha-like to me.
