According to PerezHilton.com, legendary singer and actress, Cher, has been plagued by a mysterious stomach illness and is seeking treatment in Europe. The iconic diva has had to cancel appearances and work obligations because of her illness. Get well!
A representative of Amy Winehouse has told People magazine that the troubled British singer is "determined" to make it to the Grammys.
"Amy is thrilled to be nominated for 6 Grammys and is very much hoping to attend," her rep stated. "She is determined to be ready and well for that performance."
The 24-year-old singer, whose husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, is in jail, canceled the rest of her U.K. tour. She is currently in a program being supervised by doctors and is apparently writing a lot for her next album.
"It's a really difficult time and she's been channeling it into her music."
The picture above somewhat frightens me. What are those marks on her arm?
Meanwhile, someone has taken a (pretty funny) stab at Miz Wino. Check it out! Gets you in the holiday spirit!
PerezHilton.com reports that a rumor is circulating that actress and singer Queen Latifah is about to marry her personal trainer and so-called girlfriend, Jeanette Jenkins. Queen has never admitted to the relationship and, according to what "Perez sez," has now denied the wedding rumors.
"When you're famous these days, it's just part of the deal -- unfortunately. People will make up all sorts of things that are not true. . . . There ain't gonna be no wedding."
No wedding? But is there still a relationship?
In a new interview with MTV.com, creepy funnyman, Pee-Wee Herman, a.k.a. Paul Reubens, has declared that he will be making a new Pee-Wee movie. "Tell 'em large Marge sent ya! Heh heh heh!" Yeah...
"I feel like the time is really ripe right now," Reubens said. "A lot of the kids who grew up with the show are young adults. The college kids are middle-aged adults. I feel like I have enough of a built-in audience to make back an investment."
Um, ok.
PerezHilton.com reports that PETA has launched a campaign against the Olsen twins. But why against everyone's favorite young twin celebs? The animal rights group is angry that the duo have been photographed wearing fur and have included fur in their fashion lines.
"Fur Is Worn by Beautiful Animals and Ugly People," reads a new PETA ad to run in magazines. The organization also released a statement saying, "No one would argue that Mary-Kate and Ashley could use some meat on their bones, but the last thing they need is hair on their backs."
PETA has gone so far as to dub Mary-Kate and Ashley "Hairy-Kate" and "Trashley." They've even started a website against the "Trollsen Twins" and are selling merchandise!
Are you kidding me? Does PETA have nothing better to do with their lives?
