Actors Jessica Alba and Cash Warren are expecting, reports People. Her representative confirms it: "I can confirm that Jessica and Cash are expecting a baby in late spring, early summer." Alba, 26, and Warren, 28, briefly broke up not long ago, but are back together now. "Jeopardy!" host Alex Trebek has suffered a heart attack. He is currently hospitalized in Los Angeles and his scare is being described as "minor." Trebek is resting comfortably and plans to resume taping Jeopardy in January. Get well! "Knocked Up" actress Katherine Heigl and fianc?©, musician Josh Kelley, are getting married December 23rd in Utah. Did I not know this? Since Fantasia began appearing in the Oprah Winfrey-produced "Color Purple" on Broadway seven months ago, the R&B singer has missed "an unheard of" fifty performances. The extremely unprofessional absences have hurt the box office for the show. On Broadway, when the star of a show (above the title billing) is out, a ticketholder can either exchange the tickets for another day or get a refund. Due to her many many many absences, producers have had to give back tens of thousands of dollars. Sources say Fantasia misses too often because "she’s simply not up to the grueling Broadway schedule." Broadway shows run eight times a week. In addition to the show's poor profit and her numerous absences, Fantasia has disappointed thousands of fans. "Hell no!" The Golden Globe nominations will be announced tomorrow, but the day may not be merry for the nominees and big studios. One of the repercussions of the Hollywood writers strike is that the Golden Globes in January may be cancelled, delayed, or go ahead without any star support, which will ultimately hurt the big studios’ chances of capitalizing off the Globes' noms and wins for box office appeal and to lure Oscar voters. If the Golden Globes do go on as planned, the Writers Guild of America will likely picket the show. Screen Actors Guild members will not cross the picket line if they are nominated. The unions stand in solidarity, and the SAG is likely to go on strike for the same reasons (DVD residuals and internet rights) this coming June. There is a possibility the Writers' Guild will not picket the Globes and grant them a waiver, allowing their writers to work on the show, but that seems unlikely, according to industry insiders. Since negotations are still at a standstill, the Guild may boycott both the Golden Globes and the Oscars. OMG! If they boycott the Oscars and the show is cancelled, I will freak out! FREAK! OUT! The Oscars are my joy of the spring semester and essentially my life! I will stab the Writers' Guild if they ruin this for me! NOTE: (Well, I won't really, but you get the picture.) Don't try it, Guild! UsWeekly reports that "actress" and perennial slut Pamela Anderson and husband (and also slut), Rick Salomon, will star in their own reality show for the E! network. A source said, "Think Nick and Jessica's show [MTV's 'Newlyweds'], but with a lot more sex and a crazier family life." Ew. Pammy and Rick married in October after dating for one month. Pammy has 2 kids with Tommy Lee and Rick has 2 daughters from a previous marriage. Rick is best known as Paris Hilton's sex tape co-star. This will be one AMAZING reality show, no doubt. Not. Finally, Access Hollywood has brought in a doctor that believes all of Britney's crazy antics might be due to her excessive frappuccino consumption. ROFL! Dr. Timothy Brantley said, "She’s a person who’s completely addicted to sugar. This is like heroin for a junkie. She’s literally on a roller coaster to hell. Caffeine and sugar in this drink will drive your blood sugars and hormones crazy and it can effect your mood for hours. Once you get a quick rise and a quick drop, the body is back in a craving cycle again. Caffeine content in her extra large soda could cause memory loss, inattentiveness and anxiety. If you flood your body with sugars and all of a sudden you become really hyper, I think your judgement is going to be really altered." Sweet. Or rather, "sweets"?
