When SGA and Interhall combined a year and a half ago, they put in place an experience requirement for the first presidential election. It was argued that VSG needed consistency moving forward, and the people who were leading it in its first year needed to know what was going on in the leadup to the combination. On Wednesday, a resolution was proposed that would remove the requirement. The Senate unanimously approved the decision, and the House will now vote on the issue.
