Look no further than Singing Back Through Time: American Song from 2008-1900, featuring Blair vocalists Amy Jarman, Jonathan Retzlaff and others. The concert begins at 8 p.m. in the Steve and Judy Turner Recital Hall, and admission is free.

Check out Big Head Todd and the Monsters, a rock band out of Denver with a platinum album under their belt and an exceptional live presence. The doors open at 8 p.m. at City Hall; general admission tickets are $21 at the door, $19 in advance.

Rock yourself Inside Out with Eve 6, who have embarked on an unprecedented comeback tour after a three-year hiatus. The gig starts at 8 p.m., and tickets are $18 at the door. Unfortunately for the youngsters, On the Rocks on Demonbreun is a 21-and-over club - like you haven't heard "Here's to the Night" a million times anyway...

Try the Mike Henderson Band on for size at the Bluebird Caf?©, 9:30 p.m. The indie bluesman has worked with the likes of Mark Knopfler, The Fabulous Thunderbirds and Lucinda Williams, and he has become a regular performer at the famous venue. Tickets only $7.

Fired up by Nicole's album review last week? Be sure to see Band of Horses live at Exit/In, along with folk and blues artist Tyler Ramsey. Tickets are $20, and the show kicks off at 9 p.m.
Wednesday, Jan. 30
Head to the Mercy Lounge at 9 p.m. to watch The Worsties, a high-energy local punk ensemble, as well as The Four Kicks, an alternative rock trio hailing from Atlanta. Pick up tickets at the door for only $5.
