With a 2-4 record in Southeastern Conference play, Vanderbilt will have to fight to finish above .500. After the Commodores' most recent performance, it is not unfair to ask this question: Is Vanderbilt in danger of missing the NCAA Tournament?
Clemson started 17-0 a year ago, went 7-9 in the Atlantic Coast Conference and lost in the first round of the ACC Tournament to earn a trip to the NIT. If the Commodores aren't careful, the same thing will happen to them.
At this point, can you see Kevin Stallings' squad winning a game on the road? I certainly don't.
This is a team that got to the foul line four times all game against Ole Miss. Think about that for a second. Four times.
The season is still young, but the Commodores better turn it around quickly. If they don't, they'll be the 2008 version of Clemson.
