0 - 3 Points: Honestly, you just don't deserve to be watching such a great event as March Madness. Go to class, and get a respectable grade.
3 - 8 Points: Alright, so you've kinda got a rough week academically. Think about it though... one reason you go to college is to learn how to deal with adversity. You'd be cheating yourself if you didn't skip an exam to watch the big game at least once. Just tell them you have meningitis or something, then they won't want you around anyways.
