Karl Dean lecture
Alumnus and Mayor Karl Dean will speak on politics, his campaign and vision for Nashville at 7 p.m. in the Board of Trust room in the Student Life Center. It will be the final installment of the leadership lecture series sponsored by Vanderbilt Student Government’s Arts and Science Council.

ASU fashion show
The African Student Union will host its third annual fashion show to raise money for African Global Mission and FaceAIDS in the Student Life Center Ballroom. Dinner starts at 7 p.m. with the show starting at 7:30. Tickets are $7 for students.

Engineers Without Borders benefit
Engineers Without Borders invites students to its benefit from 7 to 9 p.m. in Langford Auditorium in the medical center. Tickets can be purchased at the Sarratt Box Office for $10. The event will support Vanderbilt students who are working to get clean water to four communities in Peru.
