Thursday's Senior Class Day events will be moved inside due to concerns about severe weather.
For the Class of 2008, the annual celebration held the day before Commencement exercises will take place in Memorial Gymnasium instead of on Alumni Lawn, according to the Vanderbilt News Service.
Senior Class Day will feature rock musician and philanthropist Bob Geldof, who organized the philanthropic concerts Band Aid and Live Aid in the 1980s and the Live 8 concerts in 2005. The Vanderbilt home page will have a live webcast of Geldof's speech, which begins at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 8.
