WOMEN'S TENNIS: Vanderbilt hosts first round of NCAA Tournament Friday

The No. 11-ranked Vanderbilt women's tennis team will play host to No. 70 Indiana State Friday at Currey Tennis Center in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The winner of the match will play the winner of the Kentucky/Boise State match on Saturday.

The Commodores (18-5, 7-4 Southeastern Conference) have reached the round of 16 in the NCAAs nine straight times. They are 18-0 all-time at Currey in NCAA Tournament play and are 12-1 in first-round matches.

Since losing to Arkansas on March 7, Vanderbilt has won ten of its last 12 matches, including a 5-2 victory over possible second-round opponent Kentucky.
