Vanderbilt's women's soccer team remained undefeated on the young season with a 3-0 win over East Tennessee State Friday afternoon at Summers-Taylor Stadium.
The Commodores moved to 4-0 on the year with the win, while the Bucs lost for the first time this year to drop to 2-1.
A pair of Megan's scored their first collegiate goals in the contest. Sophomore Megan Eddings got on the board at the 21:23 mark in the first half while fellow sophomore Megan Kinsella scored her first goal at the 56:10 point in the second half to make it 2-0. Senior Amy Wilcox was credited with the assist on Eddings goal.
A pair of freshmen then connected for the third goal when Elizabeth Lillie scored her first collegiate goal at the 86:43 mark off an assist by Emily Grant
The three goals scored are the most in a game this season for the Commodores. The team now has seven different players who have scored a goal this year.
