Visitwww.vanderbilt.edu/alertvu and log in to make any necessary changes.

AlertVU will alert you to crisis situations on campus. This voluntary, free* service is offered as part of Vanderbilt’s goal to communicate emergency information quickly and in as many different ways as possible. AlertVU will only be used to notify you about potentially life-threatening situations such as a tornado headed for the campus. Your information is private and will not be shared.

You can register for any combination or all of the following message options:
o    Text messages
o    E-mails
o    Phone calls (land lines or cell)

AlertVU is an addition to Vanderbilt’s emergency notification tools, which include campus crime alerts, mass e-mails, outdoor warning systems, etc. Those tools will continue to be used for the situations that warrant their use.
