Former Vanderbilt star and the first overall pick in the 2008 baseball draft David Price made his major league debut Sunday at Yankee Stadium.

The Tampa Bay Ray pitcher came in the game in relief of starter Edwin Jackson and pitched 5 1/3 innings, allowing only three hits and two runs to a powerful New York lineup.

The hard-throwing lefty struck out four batters and walked none in an eventual 8-4 loss.
