Vanderbilt's men's tennis team will open its season starting Friday at the Southern Intercollegiate Championships in Athens, Georgia. The 32-team tournament will last four days, with the championship taking place Monday.

The Commodores will send eight of the ten players on their roster to the tournament, including freshmen Alex DiValerio and Charlie Jones who will make their collegiate debuts.
