Vanderbilt dropped its Southeastern Conference opener Friday night to Alabama, 2-0.

Despite outshooting the Crimson Tide 37-9, the Commodores (6-2-1) couldn't come through with a goal.

Vanderbilt is back in action on Sunday at 2 p.m. against Auburn at the VU Soccer Complex. The game will be a "Power in Pink" event where both teams will wear pink uniforms to raise support for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer foundation.
