The Holiday Arts Festival will be open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Tuesday through Dec. 14 at the Sarratt Gallery. The Festival is the place to shop for unique handcrafted gifts by Sarratt Art Studio Faculty, students, and invited Tennessee artists. It features unique gift items from Tennessee’s finest craft artisans, including a number of professors.

An opening reception will be held Saturday, Dec. 6, from noon to 3 p.m., in the Sarratt Cinema. The Vanderbilt community is invited to attend. There will be live performances from Vanderbilt student performance groups, featuring Rhythm and Roots, Momentum, and VU Dance Theatre. Special musical guests in the gallery feature Mel Deal, jazz guitarist.

There will also be a silent auction from Dec. 2-10. Proceeds will benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank and the Mayfield 14 Student Fund.

MasterCard, Visa, Commodore Card, cash and personal checks are accepted. The Festival is sponsored by the Sarratt Studio Art Program.
