No longer "Kisslamed"
The new appeal of Kissam is largely due to the renovations that occurred over the summer. Hemingway Market, Kissam's very own Varsity Market, was added along with more laundry machines in Kissam, an exercise room in Reinke and various other common spaces complete with comfortable lounging furniture and flat screen televisions.

Angry Highland Quad residents
Highland Quad residents were disturbed by blasting noises due to the neighboring construction of an underground parking garage for the Vanderbilt Medical Center.

Recycling efforts improve
All residence halls and houses with the exception of the four high-rise buildings (Carmichael Towers West and East, Morgan and Lewis) were equipped with in-room recycling bins.
