The Vanderbilt women's bowling team received the top ranking in the country in a poll of the nation's coaches, receiving 18 out of 20 first-place votes. The Commodores (36-5) have won 16 consecutive matches and all three of the events they have entered this season.

Vanderbilt also owns the nation's top winning percentage at .878. The 2007 National Champions continue to prepare for their next meet at the Mid-Winter Classic in Jonesboro, AK starting Jan. 16.
