So I've got good news and bad news. The good news is that lyrical genius Lupe Fiasco's junior album is set to come out later this year. The bad news? Well, Fiasco is claiming this will be his final album. I'll let you have a moment so that can sink in.

All hope is not lost. Even though Lupe is saying "sayonara" to his rapping career, the music biz is not losing its underground hero. He will stick around to run his label (1st & 15th), which will feature such up-and-comers as Matthew Santos (from "Superstar" fame), Gemini and Sarah Green. But Lupe is going out with a bang. "LupE.N.D.," the third and final album from Mr. Fiasco, will be a trifecta of his lyrical prowess. Three CDs, one album and a whole host of socially conscious hooks will comprise "LupE.N.D." to be the culmination that has made Fiasco the thinking man's rapper of choice.

Fiasco is a man of concepts, as can be seen from his elaborate stories in previous critically acclaimed albums such as "Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor" and "Lupe Fiasco's The Cool." "LupE.N.D." will be a conceptual masterpiece, with each part of the album telling part of the story. The three parts, respectively entitled "Everywhere," "Nowhere" and "Down here," will make up the "E.N.D." of "LupE.N.D."

You may be asking yourselves, "If Lupe is this great, why stop? Why is he giving himself only one more album when he may have six more under his belt?" According to Fiasco, by this third album, he'll have said all he needs to say. If that's true, then I can't wait to hear what he has to say at the end of his career.
