Several Vanderbilt sports will kick off their spring seasons this weekend all around the country.

The top-ranked women's bowling team heads to Arkansas this weekend for the Mid-Winter Classic. Click here to read Meghan Rose's recent interview with junior Josie Earnest.

The women's tennis team was rewarded with the No. 12 ranking in the country after an excellent fall season and heads to Ann Arbor, Michigan for the Michigan Invitational today. Freshman Jackie Wu, ranked No. 21 in the country, led the team with 13 victories in the fall. Click here to read an interview with her by Mike Kranzler.

Heading to South Carolina is the swim and dive team, also in its first competition of 2009. The Commodores set several personal and school records over the fall and also won a meet with Centre and Rhodes in a Nashville meet in October. Also, the women's track and field squad heads to Lexington today for the Kentucky Invite, its first meet of the 2008-2009 year.
