The Vanderbilt swim and dive team lost 152-115 in Columbia Saturday to the South Carolina Gamecocks in its first meet action of 2009.

Freshman Nicole Woodworth set school records in the one and three-meter dives for the Commodores.

Allie Voss won the 100-yard breaststroke, Laura Dillon won the 200-yard breaststroke and Kelly Obranowicz won the 100-yard butterfly for Vanderbilt. All three swimmers are freshmen.

The Commodores are back in action on Jan. 31 when they will host a meet against Marshall at Nashville's Centennial Sportsplex.
