Vanderbit plays its second game in 42 hours on Saturday afternoon when Ole Miss comes to town for an interdivisional Southeastern Conference match-up. The tips off at noon CT and will televised on CBS. The action can be heard live on the Vanderbilt-ISP Radio Network with Joe Fisher and Tim Thompson on the call.

Vanderbilt (14-8, 3-5) and Ole Miss (13-9, 4-4) will meet for the 129th time on Saturday, with the Commodores holding a 69-39 advantage in the series. Vanderbilt leads 45-5 in Nashville and has won the last three meetings with the Rebels at Memorial Gym. Vanderbilt coach Kevin Stallings has a career 6-4 record against Ole Miss, although the Commodores fell in Oxford in their last meeting, 74-58 on Jan. 30, 2008. The home team has won 19 of the last 22 meetings in the series.

Vanderbilt won its second consecutive SEC contest Thursday evening with a 79-74 win over Alabama at Memorial Gym. Sophomore A.J. Ogilvy and junior Jermaine Beal led the team with 20 points apiece, and Ogilvy notched his third double-double of the season with a 12-rebound effort against the Crimson Tide. Vanderbilt trailed by seven at halftime before mounting a comeback and holding off the Tide down the stretch. Click here to read the recap.

It marks Vanderbilt's first consecutive victories since winning six in a row from Dec. 10 to Jan. 3.

Ogilvy pushed his team-leading scoring average to 14.7 points per game with his performance, while Beal's effort marked the first time in his career with the Commodores that he has scored at least 20 points in back-to-back games. The point guard scored a career-high 21 on seven 3-pointers in last Saturday's 82-75 win over Auburn.

The Rebels meanwhile have been without the services of Trevor Gaskins, Eniel Polynice and Chris Warren, three experienced players from last year's team, because of injury. That hasn't stopped them from winning three in a row, including a win over then-No. 24 Kentucky on Jan. 27. The rest of the Rebels have picked up their game with junior David Huertas leading the way with 19.3 points per game, ranking him among the leaders in the conference. Freshman Terrico White has had an impressive rookie campaign for Ole Miss, averaging 10.6 points per game and 15.6 points in conference play.
