A new collaboration on education research will incorporate Vanderbilt as a partner. The State Collaborative on Reforming Education is planning to begin education reform efforts across the state. Vanderbilt's liaison will be James Guthrie, professor of public policy and education and chair of the Department of Leadership, Policy and Organizations. SCORE will begin implementing programs by the end of 2009. Peabody faculty will be able to present their research that may aid the collaboration. Vanderbilt is one of 12 agencies across the state involved in the initiative.
