On March 11 at 1 a.m., a man attempted to rob a student, as she was walking down the alley behind Chili's Restaurant on West End Avenue. The man approached the student from behind, grabbed her left arm and attempted to take her purse. The suspect then threatened and hit the student, and ran.

Suspect Description: Male, black, early twenties, 6 feet 2 inches, 200 pounds, black hair, wearing a red sweatshirt, baggy jeans and tennis shoes
