Vanderbilt to participate in upcoming Earth Hour

On Saturday evening, Vanderbilt will join tens of millions of people by turning off its lights for Earth Hour.

Earth Hour, which was created in 2007 by the World Wildlife Fund in Australia, is now a global event in which participants worldwide turn off non-essential lights for one hour.

Obama passes law removing barriers to stem cell research

On March 9, President Barack Obama signed into law an executive order that removed barriers to responsible scientific stem cell research, effectively reversing President George W.
