It was 4 a.m. and the first all-nighter of my semester. I was kind of getting lonely in that windowless Stevenson classroom.

We have all heard the phrase before (usually coming from some adult, female family member as we reach for a second dessert): too much of a good thing is not a good thing.

“Take a logic class,” they say when I express my opinion. “Oh yeah? Well, I learned this in my econ class,” they say to refute something I have argued.

Housing woes are a common complaint on Vanderbilt’s campus, and as housing selection nears, problems are going to flare up with alarming frequency.

I am a proud Texan. Most Texans are. Part of the reason we’re proud is because our state is totally boss, but we have also created a culture of pride within the state.

Most people have some kind of opinion on almost everything. If you’ve ever taken an English class at Vandy, you know what I’m talking about.

I will come right out and say it: I am not a fan of the Winter Olympics.
