Jordan Rodgers blasts Vanderbilt Athletics

Former Vanderbilt QB Jordan Rodgers ranted on Twitter after having trouble accessing Vanderbilt practice facilities while in Nashville. Rodgers was told that he, and other former players, in order to access some parts of the indoor facilities, would have to pay for a membership to the Vanderbilt Student Recreation and Wellness Center.

I suspect that Jordan's frustrations aren't without merit, but he arrived on campus at one of the biggest transition periods in the history of the program. Any other time I suspect that he could have reached out to a coach and the issue would have been addressed. Unfortunately almost all of the members of the new coaching staff have been in place for less than a week, and all of them are working furiously to save a recruiting class that has been destroyed by the prior administration... with only days to go until commitments must be made. Jordan's rant reflects poorly on both him and the University and certainly didn't help to stabilize the current situation. Vandy MA 1998, Vandy MBA 2000
